Role in the project: ENERGECO will be heavily involved in the pilot case in Senegal, testing HTC units and testing in real-life conditions the use of biochar as solid fuel in improved cookstoves and domestic cookers. ENERGECO will also assess and optimise the necessary pre-treatment steps of the various crop residues, to be used as feedstocks.
